Shiloh Bible College was founded
in 1967 by Pastor Violet Kiteley, a highly acclaimed master teacher
in the Body of Christ with a distinctive, prophetic edge. Throughout
the years, Shiloh Bible College has maintained a strong commitment to
sound Biblical teaching in order to equip men and women from diverse
backgrounds, denominations and cultural identifications to labor in
God’s harvest field. Our emphasis has always been to have a Spirit-filled,
local Church based servant-leader training and Biblical enrichment program.
It is our conviction that every Christian is called to serve the Lord
in some dimension and needs to be prepared to fulfill God’s will for
their lives. At Shiloh Bible College, we firmly believe that in every
nation, God will have a people well trained to be His voice. For more
than 40 years, the Lord has used Shiloh Bible College to impart life-changing
Biblical truth. It is our desire to spread the message of God’s present
truth of the Gospel of the Kingdom throughout the earth. Pastor Violet’s
vision and passion for the college has always been that every student
be so established in present truth that they could thoroughly pass on
these timeless truths to successive generations.
From its very inception, Shiloh
Bible College was uniquely designed to provide biblical education to
both laity and individuals looking at a career in the ministry. Shiloh
Bible College is an interdenominational, charismatic, Bible based college
whose stated mission is to teach, train, and equip the student body
to become fully functional and productive within the context of their
ministry calling and their sphere of influence whether it is a five-fold
ministry call or a marketplace outreach. In order to do this, we have
designed a flexible class schedule to accommodate many of our student’s
full-time employment.
Shiloh Bible College offers Associate
of Theology, Bachelor of Theology, and Master of Theology and Historical
Studies degrees. In addition to our regular program of classes, a variety
of seminars are presented each year, using biblical experts from the
Bay Area, across the United States, and around the world to impart relevant
instruction for the days we are living in.
Shiloh Bible College continues
to expand its local and international influence with the ongoing development
of new curriculum, new schools abroad and a new facility at our Oakland
home base. We desire to spread the message of God’s present truth
of the Gospel of the Kingdom throughout the earth. The graduates from
Shiloh Bible College have gone to Hong Kong, Japan, Ethiopia, Philippines,
Myanmar and several locations throughout the United States. We firmly
believe that in every nation, God will have a people well trained to
be His voice, His great army of the Lord.
These are days of great harvest
and increased vision. Shiloh Bible College is in a time of expansion
and multiplication. We are excited at Shiloh Bible College to be implementing
many new aspects to our program. We have formed a partnership with Christian
Life Educators Network (CLEN) that will enable us to have access to
many courses online, as well as an affiliation with over 200 Bible Colleges
worldwide. We believe that this will not only facilitate a new level
of offerings and excellence to our local Oakland campus, but to Shiloh’s
international campuses in Ethiopia, China, Japan, Philippines, Nigeria,
Myanmar, and Mexico as well. We are creating a program that will enable
people worldwide to benefit from a flexible curriculum that delivers
the Word in a way that will impact lives and even nations.
